Fols, avoid Shopss.com if you are looking for a computer. They are advertising that they will sign you up for a buying club, where you pay $299.00 a year to access their site and buy stuff from them at a cut rate.
When you sign up, you are allowed to get a PIII 500 machine, shipped to you within 25 business days. To do this though, you have to allow yourself to receieve an Spam ad every day.
No problem with that, but there is a major problem.. They don't have the machines to ship.. They take your money, have you sign a contract that states if you give them your money, you will get this good sounding machine.
People who have questioned the company have been lied to or in many cases had their membership terminated in this service.
This is fine, but in the terms of the signed contract, if the contract is breached by the company, the damages they will award is the computer in question. No where in the contract does it state they terminate people who question when the computers they are due will be delivered.
My complaint is, I did what they asked, and then started to question the timelines for the delivery of my computer, and by their doing was terminated from their service, a clear breach of the signed contract we had, without the damages being paid for this violation.
