The truth - Enron/Bushie energy companies ripped off California for 20 billion and Bushies are trying to sweep it under the rug. Grey Davis was stabbed in the back by these thieves and Bush-Cheney helped them do it. I was there, followed it every day, could smell the smoke of white collar crime before the fire was visible. Bushies are now involved in a massive coverup. Grey Davis is hardly to blame, yet many ignorant people think he was. Why? Because Enron and their group spent 5 million in 2001 hiring GOP operatoive Ed Gillespie to wage a massive TV campaign blaming Davis and democrats for the very phony energy crisis which they perpetrated. Texas now has a 10 billion deficit. California's is the same when you remove the massive energy gouging costs, which are basically the fault of Bush-Cheney. So should you impeach the Texas GOP governor too? Every single one of the energy company crooks was in Bush's camp, their #1 contributors, and they urged them along. Cheney lied through his teeth when during the height of the crisis he told us we needed 1300 new power plants ASAP, to be built at taxpayer expense by Halliburton and Duke, his very company and crony. Such corruption is amazing. No wonder Cheney went into hiding for 6 monjths after that and refused to hand over his energy papers despite court orders. Nice try blaming Grey Davis but people of California know who was really to blame. And Bush's tax cuts mean less help for states like California so another reason taxes must go up. Or else lose health care and education services. No free lunch so take your pick.
