Watch the AUGI fireworks begin. The recent upward movement in mkt value reflects investor realization that this (very creative) EXTL transaction actually adds a lot of value to AUGI -- more than it might seem, and in a way which might surprise Rubin himself.

AUGI boosts its balance sheet by $4.5 million (30+ cents per share; eliminates negative cashflows, and ... has become quite attractive for acquisition. AUGI is now purely an asset play.

I find the situation very interesting. Earlier expressed opinions about inside deals notwithstanding, I decided to buy in. My company has been fairly aggressive recently in share acquisition, as have apparently, several others.
