Today's Headlines!

Gateway founder, Chairman and CEO Ted Waitt will ring the opening bell at the NYSE. The North Sioux City,
S.D.-based company plans to bring a cow, the company's motif on its PC boxes, business cards and stationery, to the
trading floor.

Gateway executives said they toyed with the idea of having MOO as the company's stock symbol, but decided not to.

A NYSE spokesman said this will be the first time a cow has visited the New York Stock Exchange trading floor.

"We hope that everything works out," the spokesman said.

The move to the NYSE is also an attempt to portray the company as a stable firm in a push to invade some of the turf
occupied by rival Dell Computer.
