Terrence...I agree.

There are about 700 million people in South America that would like to live and work in the U.S. There are about 4 billion other people in the rest of the world that would like the same thing.

As much as we understand their honest desire to be here and be good citizens, we just can't accomodate everybody.

I think we NEED to lock down the border, not just because of the influx of South Americans, but also it's a major security lapse that needs to be addressed. As far as the people that are already here, I think they should be allowed to make their argument on a case by case basis. If they've lived here and have been net contributors and law abiding, then I think they should be given a fast track to citizenship.
