Interesting that the Silicon Valley Harris Coup money is now moving ahead with building nuclear reactors.

It doesn't seem that long ago that the democratic party would rather freeze to death than have a nuclear plant built in their state to keep them warm or cook their food, much less make technology possible that will put a large percentage of their voters out of jobs.

Alphabet, Kairos Power to Deploy 500 Megawatts Nuclear Energy Projects

04:13 PM EDT, 10/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) and Kairos Power said Monday they have struck a master plant development agreement to deploy a US fleet of nuclear power projects totaling 500 megawatts by 2035.

Kairos will develop, construct, and operate the plants and supply clean electricity to Google (GOOG.NaE) data centers as part of the deal, with the first deployment expected by 2030, they said. Financial terms were not disclosed.
