It occurs to me as I watch the GOM turn into one large blender that the sands have got to be looking as more stable for US supply.

Politically stable source
Dry land production
Remote and environmentally secure
Friendly and protectable territory
Basically Storm proof ( not much insane weather up here(other than cold)
Large Large reserves.
Close to the consumer (no global shipping)

I hope the US sees this and moves before China or such.
Its one reason I expect the soft wood lumber problem may considered solved right now.
