"You are taking the high road Gem. " I thought I was taking the road of principled justice and conscientious reason. It is the only road that carries any promise of success. I don't see how your idea is justified or even how it would work as a deterrant. I can imagine how it would do just the opposite Regarding the Chinese kid: One anonymous kid dying in China means nothing to me. One anonymous child suffering abuse or torture in China means nothing to me. My finger on the button whether material or otherwise, that would bring this about means EVERYTHING to me. Everything would be lost for all of eternity. Keep your million.
