Mark,

<< Any ideas yet if Taiwan earthquake will disrupt things for SIM's or cell phones in general? >>

A follow up lifted from the Qualcomm - Write What You Like thread

"Companies like Motorola (MOT) and Qualcomm (QCOM), which have limited exposure to Taiwanese foundries, will lose less than 2% and 1% of their total revenue, respectively, according to Merrill's Michael Ching. "Overall, we see only a modest impact from the earthquake and reiterate our Accumulate/Buy rating for Motorola and Qualcomm," Ching says in a note Tuesday."

But, another poster queries:

"I then have to ask, what other ripple effect it will have short term with other components, such as LED displays (if that is where they are produced). I find that this assessment is made even before the aftershocks have subsided, to be a bit suspect"
