Thanks for the summary.

Do you think he is right? or... what are the odds he is right?

If you had to go back 20 years in time and pick someone to invest in.... who would you have given your money to?

I've crushed Buffett's returns but I don't have nearly as much money (my own or my explore portfolio) to manage. Buffett thinks he could do 50% APR if he didn't have so much to manage and I tend to believe he could do much better.... but he offsets that with the ability to capitalize on his name such as the deal with GE and GS that was not available to the rest of us.

Thiel's returns and success are damned impressive. I live in the same area and have had similar great ideas, but I suck at turning them into billion dollar companies while Thiel is brilliant at it. (He's not interested in women so maybe that is an advantage Buffett and I don't have.)

Go long the bottom three and short Stockman and you'd do very, very well.
