Hi atskags, The way I see it is that there is low volume because investors are not parting with their stock at these prices. There has only been a couple days that volume has been over 100,000 shares. Very few people know about this company and it has been trading as QNNT since Jan 10, 2000.
There is very little information available on the company at this time and the webpage for qinnet.com doesn't have that much info for prospective investors either. It is early and I think they have been tending to the business at hand in China and consequently some of the minor details ( when looking at the larger picture) have not received the attention. These concerns have been relayed to the company.

The merger to become qinnet.com was expected to be completed by Jan 31,2000 so we should get an update on that as well as some info on what is happening in China.

I do believe that a NM listing is a goal but still early. The price requirement is already there. I haven't checked the other listing requirements for a while so I would have to investigate that. That is a slow process...probably at least a few months. I will inquire and get a more definite answer about that.

Whatever happens in China will be exciting as the internet starts to really sweep across the country in the next few years. As long as the door stays open there will be tremendous opportunities for those with established connections to the Chinese government.

I have heard people say that they feel this Internet in China thing is a bubble waiting to burst. They have a right to their opinion and so do I. Only time will tell. All the market research I have read indicates unprecedented growth. It will all depend on the attitude of the Chinese government. Of course those companies operating there will require large amounts of capital to initiate their business plans. There are many factors to take into consideration when making an investment decision. Hopefully we make the right one.
