hi colleen...not to be argumentative...as i said...plausible or no, this is what the person i spoke to said to me...as best as i can remember to tell it at this late date...i plainly said that i could not vouch for the accuracy of the information, only the accuracy of my reporting of it, at the time...there is a vast difference...
it is quite plausible to me that there was some sort of agreement between the two of them for a transitional period...break in, so to speak...familiarization...i am not saying that this is the case, but it is reasonable to consider the possibility...
colleen...there is a man who has made me an offer on my charterboat...if indeed he does buy it from me, it will be my "responsibility" to help familiarize him with it...it will take some of my time to do this...furthermore, i will agree to help him with my client base and make numerous telephone calls at my expense to speak with those clients who have already booked my boat for this upcoming season, about the situation...and, as further clients continue to telephone my house for their reservations, i will relenquish my time, several evenings a week, to deal with it...not for any benefit to me, but to him...
none of this is a legal requirement, but it is the right thing for me to do...
