I use MSFT defender that comes with Windows 11. Between that and the protection Edge and Chrome have built in... I don't see much other need to pay extra but I backup ALL my files (including all the data for the programs in "AppData-Roaming") hourly so when my last PC died, I went to Costco.com, got a new one delivered to the store overnight, and was up and running quickly. Let us know what you decide on.
