Tons of AI talent in house at NBIS. Really? Yandex was halted for about three years, and the Russian internet operations either sold or halted. Did the "AI talent" stay on the payroll doing nothing for three years? NBIS is (I think) no Amazon. I don't think data centers have brands that lock in their customers (but I could be wrong!). As always, there's a lot I don't know... Me as well on NBIS. I don't know the story well at all, but what I do know (they're raising capital and building AI datacenters, and then I guess down the road they sell data center services to ..... whoever needs them) sounds like a lousy investment to me. If NBIS's business model were great, what's to stop 100 other companies from raising capital and building AI data centers, same as what NBIS is doing?
