That is really interesting, Kirk. Ooh, that Silicon Valley intrigue :)

I've found that the best performing names I hold usually have a neat story. I first heard Palantir mentioned on the tv show "Person of Interest"; it was a great series BTW and that name stuck in my mind.

When it IPOed, I had that surreal feeling so I bought in the teens and held into the 30ish area I think; a wonderful quick typical IPO ramp up. Then I kept it on the watch list, lost interest, got interested again but couldn't find a good safe entry spot for longer-term hold. Well, late April provided that opportunity...
