Hi Jeff, Peter Benz is perfectly capable of deciding whose calls to take. A call from John (Bandit) with a heap of questions from SI thread members, who are mostly long and patient, is a wise thing for him to do. He himself does not express or give even the vaguest impression that he is browned off by the calls. John has organized the questions from us to allow the maximum amount of information to be communicated in the shortest time (Thanks again, John). In fact, Mr. Benz may see the opportunity very favorably, allowing him to express his priorities and have the info disseminated to just the right ones to hear it. I don't think Cantwell, the IR rep, could have answered John's list nearly as quickly or directly. How many times have you heard, "Well, that's a good question, we'll get back to you."
Peter Benz did not get into the position he enjoys with MVEE or, for that matter, with the health clubs by talking with dodos or spilling the beans. He can politely refer the caller to Cantwell, not be available, or hang up as he chooses. I don't think protecting him from investors, however hostile or negative they may be, is desirable or efficient. "If you talk the talk, you got to walk the walk."
