This week we're seeing the result of heavier voting for the SI stocks. The heavy voting shows up in the "weighted" data which takes the raw values and multiplies them times the number of votes. This exaggerates the bullishness or bearishness and gives us a feel of participation on SI.



In the past when we've been involved in very bearish markets posting on SI has diminished we're guessing that with the SI Sentiment voting we'll also see less voting curing heavy bear markets.

So, let's see if we can make any sense out of this graph. The weighted value is up, indicating heavier voting even while the unweighted is declining. So the unweighted slope is negative even when the weighted is positive. Maybe this means that risk is decreasing and some market participants are beginning to feel that a rebound is soon to come.
