| Looks like "The Truth" has brought up a good fallacy in the presumption that logic always holds true in every circumstance. A=B & B=C So A must equal C. Works great in math but does not hold necessarily true when people are involved. If "The Truth" statement actually held true then I & many others would be killers.
My guns have never killed anyone, so I guess my guns don't kill people.
Mystery solved. The only way that I could kill someone with a gun is if I dropped the clip out of the gun, picked up the clip, load rounds into the clip,
put the clip into the gun, pull the slide back to load the gun, then go and find somebody to shoot, found someone, point it at them, aim, and then pulled the trigger. Thats about 13 steps. Each step requires thought, and a willingness to move to the next step, which is a choice in itself. So don't give me this semantic BS that "guns kill people".
That would be like blaming alcohol for the drunk driving fatalities. We don't blame the beer, whiskey, or wine, we blame the driver behind the wheel. Who had a choice, to go get blasted and then get behind the wheel.
As far as the NRA comment... The NRA is a fairly moderate pro-gun group. They just happen to be the largest and the most visible. If you want to see a real pro-gun group, check out Gun Owners of America (G.O.A.) web site or Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (JFPO) web site.
Go ahead and bash the NRA, but it would be very hard to stand ground against JFPO. After all many of their older members were subjected to the one thing many Second Amendment believers are trying to prevent from ever happening in this country. That one thing is the Holocaust. You may have heard about it.

Yeah & many people say "It can't happen here". Well, disarm the people of a nation and its only a matter of time before the same people, or the children of the people that voted in such laws are subjugated into the position of being victims of such atrocities.
