Technology keeps advancing.

A few years ago, to call the police you had to look up the number and dial 7 digits to have a stenographer write down your information. The more recent 911 systems require only 3 digits to connect to the police and have your call recorded automaticly. Now with the Patriot Act you don't even have to dial.

You know why John Ashcroft has so much respect for Donald Rumsfeld? Rumsfeld is the only one in the administration who can read the Patriot Act in its original German.
