My brother used to have a friend who traded treasury futures. His goal was to make $10,000 per trading day. When he achieved it he quit and went golfing or did anything else. Some days he lost money, others he made less than his goal. He also had rules like: Lose money three days in a row and take a day off. Lose money two weeks in a row and take a week off.
