For the most part they are only posting negative issue's.
That's because there are negative issues here. If the CEO would come clean and publicly disclose these issues, that would be the end of them. Many people bought and lost their investment because of claims made by the company. Claims that have since dissolved (after one year of milking) but have yet to be explained to those who lost money.
NOT ONE OF THEM! has ever said: I HAVE BEEN TO THE COMPANY AND? They only post things that they pick up off the cutting floor.
As I explained in a post to Barbara recently, there is a place for all types of research to be conducted on these threads. I think we're incredibly fortunate that you live close enough to the offices that you have given of your time to drop in and eye witness events and report back to those of us living farther away. I have attended a trade show for some investors because it was here in town and it was in an area that I'm a trained professional in, so I could give an opinion of the product. I have also recently asked another investor about a company near him, he stopped by the office and reported his findings to me. And another in Florida. Eye witness accounts are EXTREMELY valuable. To which there have been some visual accounts for an AFG office area which is considered to be in dangerous surroundings (crack houses abound) and the office for the internet guys is reported to be less than stellar. Were you aware of this?
After a person visits said premises, they should report their truthful findings to the thread and allow others to disseminate the information. However, to get angry at those of us who will examine things that are told to you by people at the offices is uncalled for. You have not personally been insulted or belittled because you stop by, rather the information you come away with is examined. Would you buy a used car by only looking at it, even if you opened up the hood? Not if you're a wise and intelligent consumer. You would research the repair history of said vehicle and at least turn the ignition key and take it for a test drive. Why should any less examination be done to an investment when people are looking to invest as much as they would on some vehicle, new or used?
I have NEVER criticized Barb, jdcpa, you or any other individual who has taken the time to call or visit the company and relay information back to us (my brother should be included in this grouping). At this point, the people who are better at disseminating the information should be allowed to contribute their analysis of the information provided. You see, every one can have a role in this internet world of investing. Only when many are allowed to contribute without harsh treatment can the strength of the unit be realized. |
