You seem honestly interested in learning and sharing. That is a good AGENDA.

Can you believe it has been since roughly 1983 that I've been posting on internet message boards?

I love a healthy debate and back then discussed
  • religion
  • high-end audio (I'd prove with high quality HP test gear and my own audiophile equipment that most of what was sold was more religion than technology)
I would post on message boards as a distraction while waiting for my SPICE circuity simulations to run.
Then later when I quit drinking and took up windsurfing in 1987, I became a regular on rec.windsurfing.

Religion and politics became nuclear wasteland of insults after aol opened the internet to non techies.... so I pretty much gave up on those topics unless they relate to investing.
