Historically, wcom splits to promote the value of its stock for future acquisitions(ANS, CNS, Brooks) and for overall shareholder value. Since they landed the "big un" in MCI, I would still expect timely stock splits for further expansion and the completion of their interantional services portfolio(i.e. cellular acquisition in 1999). Let's say they split at 65 to 75 and announce in the first Q99.
