Bob, you are amazing. First of all, although the Walmart stores in the NE which were carrying the product still are, the contract with Walmart was never signed; that's when the stock started going down about 18 months or so ago. Surely you didn't think they were still in negotiations after all this time? You really didn't have a clue? All you had to do was call and ask. Second, regardless of what your chart shows, I bought some shares at 90c. So, I know it was up there. The stock has not been at 50c only. Third, the stock price's poor performance is what must have happened to those other stocks (ie, Tandy) I referred to; there must have been some Bobgh's types in those days, naysayers, or the companies' stock would never have been in the penny range! As for the suggestion that the company is in financial trouble -- it is financially strong and according to the cfo, is expected to turn a profit the next quarter. That's a prediction, safe harbor and all that, and I know (as you should, I hope) that it might just break even or get close to breaking even; however, with shipments to the NE, Taiwan, the middle east, and soon, China, the future is bright for those holding significant shares of the company. And, I want to point out, someone is definitely stocking up at these prices, buying as many shares as others are willing to sell. The cfo is fiscally conservative, which has it's good qualities; namely, I don't worry much about them overspending. The bad news is, they spend little to get the price of the stock up. My own annoyance with the company is they have no sense of "stockholder". They believe they can't put out a press release unless the ground shakes, and then they wait so long the information is diluted with time before it comes out. Things which other small companies would jump on to put releases out about, may come out with some other news months later. (ie, being recommended by a brokerage). Still, the fact is that sooner or later the company is going to catch the attention of "more buyers than sellers" and then the stock will soar. I don't know when that will be. But if you can't wait, if you really feel you don't know what's going on, you might be wise to sell rather than be in the dark all the time. Or try calling them! You laud yourself for predicting... nothing, really. Since the stock price is low, therefore it should be. Classic buy high, sell low; fortunately I only bought 10,000 shares at 90c, but if I'd been operating under the classic paradigm for buying and selling, I'd have bought all of them at that price. The people buying now are smart; buy low, sell high. Those holding, ditto. I'm not on your case, Bob. But I don't understand why you stay in this one, or any penny stock. Sounds like Big Blue is for you. I purposefully didn't come on the thread and point out to you that the big boys plummeted there for a few months, right after you wanted to know why this one wasn't performing while the big stocks were... better if you asked why only the big stocks were going up at that time, and small stocks weren't; it was not just an AQB phenom. |
