But to consider whole films, probably the funniest food movie ever made is Tampopo ? a series of loosely connected sequences about the very Japanese obsession with the perfect bowl of noodles and the perfect woman to run the noodle shop.


Same guy also made 'A Taxing Woman" and a 'A Taxing Woman's Return'.

All three are terrific comedies about obsession. We're all obsessive but the Japanese flavour is remarkable...
