TSMC October revenues rise 27%

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has reported consolidated revenues of NT$81.74 billion (US$2.5 billion) for October 2015 representing increases of 26.7% on month and 1.2% on year.
TSMC's revenues for October 2015 were also the second-highest monthly levels in the company's history. Revenues totaled NT$721.72 billion for the first 10 months of the year, rising 16.2% compared to the same period in 2014.
TSMC estimated previously revenues would drop 4-5% sequentially in the fourth quarter of 2015.
TSMC will continue to outperform the global IC foundry market in 2015, with revenue growth of 10-11%, the foundry indicated.
