So far I have heard that some major players (Oracle) believe the $500 Internet box is coming. Warren, I’m not convinced. If it did materialize who would want it and why. But at that price leading manufactures stand to make a lot of money (but only for a little while) then the worm turns and the market cheapens as it becomes a commodity item with commodity profits. Warren I do not believe that this is the market Tseng is pursuing I believe what Tseng really wants to produce is leading edge video technology chip that advances the PC platform into several crosscutting multipurpose applications. This makes the PC a visual communication tool capable of integrating, and replacing, TV, telephone, radio and display systems. Such a tool would allow new applications to be developed and expand this market. Did they do it? They seem to think that they did. What do I think, I’ll let you know tomorrow after I’ve had a chance to consult my pillow!
