Two true stories in the category that 'they walk among us'(...and run our goverment, as well) :
I spent three years of my early career ('53-'56) with NSA as a branch chief .
One very ! rainy day, one of our GS 11's, middle management type, came in, soaked with rain,and he announced :
"Would you believe it, the weatherman said that the humidity was 97%, WOW !!!" (DUH)
Another day, One of our guys asked this lady, GS12 !!!, "Why were you speeding at 80mph down the BW Parkway going home, last night?"
Her response...and I'm not kidding, was
" I left my glasses at home yesterday, and I wanted to get home as fast as I could, before I had an accident !"
