Believe me, I'm extremely interested in ONSL's success. I like the model, and they seem to be aggressively pushing the envelope. I do have a concern that they they may be pushing it too aggressively - starting off with a low ball price but winding up with a final cost to the customer that is higher for o/n delivery than pcconnection, reportedly a hi-cost retailer, hmmm, maybe too aggressive?
But the model is great - just like Midas muffler's model. They practically give away the muffler, but the pipe? oh, that's 25 bucks a foot.
If ONSL can make it with a model that loads the transaction costs, more power to them. I just hope they don't kill the goose that could lay the golden eggs.
I'll find out more about the ONSL experience pretty soon - I just bought a humongous monitor from the auction site. I hope it gets here soon, that there are no problems, and if there are, that they're settled quickly.
