I dont want to elaborate on my reasons for buying stock in SUNW,
except for just believing in a company and think that it will work.
What I would like to know from you is... what is the diffrence
between "JAVA" & "Microsoft active X" {In general}?
My problem is this, I would estimate that %99 of the new computers
being sold have a "Microsoft software" package that comes with the system. Which means that "Internet Explorer" will come with the the system. Which means to me that more people will be used to "Explorer"
than "Netcsape" ... Netscape is in competition with Microsoft as far as the internet goes. Who do you think will rule? What I'm getting at is SUNW as far as the internet goes is doing the best job! (Because of
"JAVA" and "Netscape"} BUT!!!! More new computers are sold with the
"Microsoft Internet Explorer" Than with "Netscape" (which "JAVA"
script"} supports.
I hope I made some sense, and I really dont expect a reply.
I'm new to stocks but not new to computers. I would love to see another company beat out Microsoft as far as the Internet goes, but
I dont see how, when new computers come with "Microsoft Explorer".
I have it on my PC's, but I use Netcsape Which supports "JAVA" And I
think its great! But get on Explorer and things are diffrent.
Sun Microsystems=JAVA=Netscape... Great!
Microsoft= Microsoft Ative X= Explorer... No comment.
Am I correct or totaly off track?

Reguards.
