I believe that SUN is on the verge of exploding. Their ultrasparc(II) workstation internet servers w/ the solaris operating system continue to dominate the industrial segment of internet servers - and for good reason: they are the fastest and most reliable. This market capitalization will only accelerate as more and more companies rely on the proven best to secure their byte of internet commerce. As if this were not enough - they own the not so fadish platform independent internet development language: <<<JAVA>>> Microsoft activeX will have it's simple niche but for serious robust application development JAVA is the ONLY alternative. Eventually the masses will realize this but until this time I will continue to advance (and gloat) in my gnosis of what I know the future holds: Summary: Sun has capitalized in every way on the greatest information structure that man has ever seen, and we have only seen the very beginning. Sun and the internet are almost synonymous and as the internet continues to explode in growth so will it's backbone. Expect a supernova. What is the sentiment? Does everyone agree? I am looking for an astronomical quarter for July and for many years forward. | ||||||||||||||
