Onsale is running Yahoo auctions and Onsale Japan is a joint venture with Softbank, yes Softbank. You can find Onsale listed in any number of places in the Softbank website.

That is why the reference of buy.com and softbank caught me so off guard. I'm wondering if they didn't mean to say Onsale in the first place and the buy.com was a typo?
