Mike, Cant comment on Germany, Webs are a good product for taking a position on a country. The way I've been "playing" closed end funds are 1. Trying to buy funds which will open up. 2. Buying discounts(big) on countries where future looks good and discount big. 3. Just buying Big Big discounts with the expectation that it will narrow. (most recently bought UNC and EVT on Toronto when discounts where over 30%, funds have done well in past, Canadian Mkt should do well and I'm getting dividends on 100%, yet only payed 70%) Scott
