I have been out of the silicon industry for 8 years but I think Wacker is German so there will not be any information for it in the U.S.

Does any body know if MEMC's plant in Pasadena, TX was originally built by Ethyl Corp? If so, does it use a fluidized bed deposition reactor and what feedstock? My interest is more past history since I helped develop that type process at Texas Instruments and Union Carbide.
