Haven't written you in awhile and wanted to pick your brain again.
Do know if there is any correlation between the closing bid and ask price and trend in the stock?

With some Nasdaq stocks, the after bell bid will be put .25 below the closing price and ask will be an equal .25 above. On other days the bid will be the same as the closing price and the ask .38 cents above. I'm talking about stocks under $5 dollars here, so the spreads are quite significant. Just wanted to know if you look at the spread to gain any insight into the direction a stock is trending?
