It is on a day like the Fourth of July that one can see and feel the proud feeling of being an American. As we have gone through the centuries we have seen different nationalities migrate to this great country, AMERICA. Each time every group has had to prove their place in our great country and has earned the right to stand up and be proud to be called an American. At first there is always resentment by a few who swear that the knew group has taken away jobs and opportunities for us the true Americans. Forgetting that their ancestors suffered the same discrimination and resentment. Time has proven them wrong each and every turn of the century. We have found it here in America. We, all of us, when standing taking the Pledge of Allegiance for the very first time, feel a proud bond and attachment to a country that has given us the opportunities our four fathers dreamed for us when they came here from the old world. Life, liberty, freedom of speech and the pursuit of happiness! AMERICA HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
