did a quick read of the prospectus. they make integrated design verification software. major customers include sony, toshiba, cadence design systems. would expect their stocks to track some of their larger customers stock prices. Revenue up an impressive 122% year over year albeit they are a very small company. Revenue went from 9M to 21M, in quarterly comparisons. 30M in revenue in 2000. Good R&D spending, 25.5% of revenue, very healthy for future products. they spend an astounding 41.1% of sales on sales and marketing. thats where all the money is going and would expect to see a payoff in sales growth. they're writing off some goodwill/amoritization that is punishing reported earnings. accounts for about 80 cents of reported losses. the sales and marketing they are spedning pretty much accounts for the rest. as long as they continue to grow the sales year over year at or in excess of 122% a year, I think splx is worth a shot. any slowdown in that sales growth and dump it.
