LUMM

From RB board

I have no clue about whether the rumor is true or false, but I've been a holder since about 4 months ago at 1 1/8. I very religiously follow my stocks since I have access from my desk at work. I've paid particular attention to LUMM since it is my main holding in my portfolio, and since I'm in network administration I bought in becuase of what I know DWDM is...the magic pill. I knew that once first and second generation DWDM products are installed by the major players, that the leader at that point would logically look to third-generation DWDM technology, which is basically is what LUMM optical components are meant to be. If LUMM can pull-off what they obviously feel they can (you don't build a clean-room facility from privately financed funds unless your pretty confident), then third-generation DWDM belongs to them. Both in the actual production, and in authoring DWDM industry standards. Such as the 32 frequencies for 32-channel DWDM. Currently every freaking DWDM device maker uses their own set of frequencies to breakout wavelengths. With an all optical waveguide manufactured to industry standards, any DWDM vendor can purchase that chip and throw it in their device and be compatible with another vendors DWDM device at the other end. Anyway, enough babbling.

I'm not hyping, I'm just very excited about the abnormal action thats been going on recently, and that usually leads me to posting about why I did invest into this company. Self assurance that I didn't make bad decision after all.

Since that Molex rumor was brought up, I will just play along. Molex and LUMM enter into a strategic partnership to develop next-generation optical components and fiber-optical cable (the plastic fiber). Molex agrees to allow LUMM to use it's production facilities to produce the proto-type. The Clean-Room now takes the role of being more of a research lab. Furnished with equipment donated (or cheaply leased) from Molex.

Something like that anyway. Pure speculation, but I do recall in a PR that partnerships were being sought.

Do your own DD but News is expected soon

Cheers
