Another setup from Wayne Whaley. The 2nd half of September is “normally” the most negative part of the year. BUT, if it follows a strong trailing month (August 15 to Sept 15) - that negativity tends to be ameliorated.

(This, btw, goes along with his previous observation - that strong performance during the 3 Summer months tends to push more of the seasonal negativity forward, into October).
