Come on, jhild, we have not yet had a President who cold keep his pants on, yet there are those who point to Clinton's affairs in a manner such as you seem to keep coming back to this to say that this is a bad trait in a President, yet the country keeps rolling along. There are lots of reasons why it was not possible for the folks on the SNTKY thread to verify these degrees, if they really did. One such is that under the Buckley Amendment, if a person wishes to have their records kept private, the institution will not even acknowledge attendance, nor will they verify degrees. And they also won't tell you that a privacy provision has been invoked! They will in fact tell you that as far as they know, that person does not exist! You can easily verify this is so by calling the Registrar of any university and asking what their policies are in this regard.

Even if this question is asked of Mr. Cataldo, it is unlikely that he will answer one way or the other. Were I he, and I wanted my privacy, I would let the question fall on deaf ears. That does not mean it is correct nor is it incorrect. It means you are not going to get an answer and nothing more.

Please don't cast me in the role of defending Cataldo, for I have no idea whether he did or did not attend these institutions nor do I know whether or not he has invoked the Buckley provisions or some other device. I do believe that it is a non-issue and am willing to judge the man by what happens with these two companies. At the present moment, I am more likely to judge him by the lack of financial reports and apparent discrepancy in the share numbers than anything else. Those are the questions I want answered.
