We ate at a Yalie place down the street. Could have been Louis Lunch, but I can't remember. It was pub-like, with English dishes on the menu as I recall. Dark woodwork, white hexagonal tiles.

My Petition for More Space was an apocalyptic novel about life where the government tells you how much space you can occupy and where you can occupy it. The situation is borne out of necessity owing to the population explosion, but some people found they couldn't function in the allotted space (which was just a few cubic feet), and the protagonist had to ask for more space. Hence, the title.

I also enjoyed the Winchester Museum. I find it odd that Senator Dodd is such an anti-gunner since several of the most famous gun manufacturers reside in his state.
