If you have a beat up office then you could just tack it up.

Actually what I told about putting it somewhere near the machine you was serious. Good for confidence, although I admit that I've never done it myself.

I used to do it a different way because I had the office paneled and did not want to go tacking or taping stuff up on the new walls.

Years ago when I travelled a lot I never thought to bring home a logo ball from any of the courses I played, so on a trip to Pinehurst NC I bought a ball rack.

Then I stopped travelling to play golf, so I had an empty ball rack.

So it hit me to get a bunch of CBOE, then CME golf balls (thanks to SE for the first supply of those), and whenever I made X dollars on a trade I would write it on the ball and pop it in the rack.

That was the way I handled bad days, I'd look at the rack and realize it wasn't me. Rather, it was just a bad day.
