I grew up in the Durham area in the 60's and 70's. The nearest pro sports franchise was 2 state lines away in those days, so the ACC tournament was like the Superbowl and World Series rolled into one for me.

I live in Texas now so I don't follow the ACC much anymore except at tournament time. My folks still live in the area and keep me up to date though.
