Last night the Duke mens basketball team beat DePaul 84-83 in Cameron Indoor Stadium on a banked 3-point shot with 15 seconds left in overtime by an unseasoned freshman center. It's college hoops season once again! The Duke mens team has now improved its record in Cameron to 123-2 since 1983, and I've decided to celebrate the occasion by creating and dedicating this thread for discussion of both the Duke University men's and women's teams, both of which reached the final four last year, the first time in NCAA history that both teams from the same school accomplished that feat.

The non-profit Duke Basketball Report at

is the best place on the web for information and discussion of Duke basketball--and college hoops in general, in my opinion--but I have created this place to enable Duke basketball discussion here as well for those who want it. So spread the word to SI member Duke alum's and other sympathetic parties. In no event are Carolina alums welcome, and don't anyone dare mention Curry Kirkpatrick, the biggest heel of them all. As the Cameron Crazy chant goes:

GO TO HELL CAROLINA, GO TO HELL!
