The latest drop happened two weeks ago was due to a confusion with the $265 million merge news from Checkpoint Systems. Almost any big news from these two companies would mess up the stocks of them. At current prices, CHKP is still very cheap if you compare with the lead networking/internet players. I won't be surprised if CHKP crosses $100 mark in this year. Net security markets are still very very young. Checkpoint is still very very young, although it has been playing a leading role in the security markets. All of e-commerce related products must be secured with VPN or other future security technologies. If you want to ride each small up-down wave, you may trade without your eyes off the screen. In this way, you surely will be able to make $$$. However, I suggest you to take the big industrial cycle instead. It means to put your CHKP shares under your pillows until you feel the growth of Checkpoint slowing down significantly or no longer making money for you. It will bring you $$$$$$$$$....$
