Certainly there is disagreement among Republicans, but the issues I am talking about represent the mainstream of the party. I did not imply that only Republicans know God, by the way, just that the party as such has a more favorable attitude to religion in public life, which is true. Your other comment is impertinent...In any case, I was addressing an attempt to stereotype Republicans--- negatively!
