We called it "summer intern" when I was a participant during my last summer in college. We also had an "East Side Academy" where we identified at risk high-school girls and gave them helper jobs to the administrative assistants. Some did really well with the encouragement and mentoring; I'm still friends with one via facebook who went on to get a college degree, works for the Gap in SF and has a wonderful family of her own now.

I liked the SNL skit where the coal worker tried to tell the Trump impersonator, Alec Baldwin, that he wanted a better job... not coal mining jobs for life... that lead to black lung disease. I hear Larry Kudlow on CNBC now talking about the different tax change ideas he has and how many different ideas there are in the GOP.... and all I could think of is herding cats and chickens.
