By definition my Keep It Simple Stupid system is more art than science. I already had the symbol on my watch list after a friend told me he bought at just over $11.00. So what I saw was the S.A. article that had some interesting points that I fully agreed with. Most notably the refusal of the bid for one of their units that was at 90% of asking and the purchase of 24K shares by the CFO at $10.72. Also, my "hunch", was that the PPS was within 20% of what I perceived at a max low. (You noted the 2008 low which I sort of dismissed due to the economic situation at the time.)

Then I had four indicators turning up at the time, MACD, Williams % R, RSI, and Money Flow.

Also, volume had dropped off and it looked like selling had abated.

There were a couple of other things but bottom line I got trigger happy. Oh well, loved, lost, back to the drawing board.
