Hello again everyone,

I have just about finished the little program I am calling "FundVest". It is an Excel 97 Workbook that contains the "Twinvest" system on the first worksheet (from Mr. Lichello's book), a Value Cost Averaging system on the second worksheet, and a Dollar Cost Averaging system on the last worksheet. I still have a few minor cosmetic changes to make and need to write a manual for it (that's not the fun part), but wanted to offer it to you all to take for a test drive. I decided to make each system a stand alone worksheet so they can be used independently but may decide to have the equity input price automatically plug in page 2 and 3 when you enter them in the first page.

If you have Excel 97 and would like a copy of this system, just drop me an E-mail and I will E-mail you back with a copy attached. It is fairly straightforward and easy to use. All the cells are locked and protected except for the input cells so you don't have to worry about corrupting the formatting or formulas. You can use the TAB key to jump between the input cells and the sheet is reset by simply highlighting the equity prices and hitting the DEL key.

I ran a few scenarios through it quickly and noticed that the performance of each system will vary depending on the price action of the equity (big surprise). I left a series of prices in it that went 10-9-8-7-6-5-6-7-8-9-10, and noticed that "Twinvest" comes out on top, VCA comes in second, and DCA is last in performance. I really haven't spent much time evaluating various price scenarios yet so maybe you could let me know what you find out after playing around with it for a while.
