Hi Jack, Jim Battaglia's TVR method works very well with individual sector funds for determining a cash reserve. The Idiot Wave is more for diversified funds. An individual sector fund may require more cash reserve a market peaks, but near the bottom of its own cycle will probably need less cash than the IW would suggest.

Racing was a blast. Weather was superb - if just a bit on the hot side. I passed a few cars and was passed by some others. We had nearly 70 cars in the group with which I was gridded. I think I gained about 8 places during the race and finished about 42nd and 4th in class. Good, tight racing all the way around the 4 mile track. For the spectators it's one of the best events because of the quantity and quality of the race cars. About 550 cars registered for the weekend of racing and most participants went home with big smiles on their faces.

Best regards, Tom
